Updated 9:25am Eastern: Marvel Releases Fantastic Four #588 Final Issue Teaser Image

Here is the solicit to the final issue of Fantastic Four (#588) that hits February 23rd.

This will be an epilogue issue with the "World's Greatest Comic" getting relaunched in March with FF#1 from writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Steve Epting.

From below, we see that the members of the FF and various heroes will all be present. Interesting is the fact that "prominent villains" are mentioned. Just who could they be? Doctor Doom? Mole Man? Super-Skrull? Members of the Frighful Four?

Will they be offering their respects or trying to take advantage now that there are only "3" - which Jonathan Hickman's last arc on FF is so aptly named. If so, we can be certain it will be "Clobberin' Time" like no other time we have seen before.

The solicit also mentions Spider-Man will be consoling the young Franklin Richards who was on hand to witness the death of his beloved Uncle. Spider-Man appeared in an earlier issue during Jonathan Hickman's run at Franklin's birthday party. The Amazing Spider-Man also seems to be joining the "FF" and will be attending a "very private wake - just for family" with March's Amazing Spider-Man #657.
