Marvel Preview: Captain America: First Vengeance Movie Tie-In

Marvel.com has announced an eight issue DIGITAL mini-series, Captain America: First Vengeance, from writers "Fred Van Lente and drawn alternately by Luke Ross and Neil Edwards--along with some gorgeous colors by Richard Isanove."

The first issue will be available for free at captainamerica.com on Sunday February 6th - just in time for the debut of the Captain America: First Avenger trailer on the Superbowl.

Fred Van Lente had this to say:

"The relationship between Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for example, is very different, and in a very cool way," says the writer, explaining the differences. "And what's neat about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, just like in the comics' universe, is the interconnections between various movies, particularly 'Iron Man 2' and 'Thor.' You'll start to see those coming out in FIRST VENGEANCE."

Look for follow up issues available on Marvel Comics iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch app starting Tuesday, February 8.
