Very reminiscent of Jim Starlin's The Infinity Gauntlet and related series, we see that the Marvel U. heroes have assembled to defend their homes against the Mad Titan Thanos.

The issue also features the Guardians of the Galaxy, with the rag-tag team front and center on the cover.

Avengers Assemble #6 is in stores next week, Wednesday August 8th, from Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley.
