Thank the Inheritors, it is over!
A dozen issues ago, a powerful parasitic alien force fused with our boy, paraplegic war vet Stew Trautmann, giving him powers beyond mortal men. In so doing, it also set Stew on a war with himself as he sought to master this tech while trying to figure out how to survive the dopey situations into which writers kept dropping him.

As at least Stew comes to a mental agreement with his alien tech about the reasons for Solider Zero. I can definitely state the reason for this being the last issue (at least as far as this reviewer knows) …
