I'd like to shake the hand of cover artist Kenneth Rocafort and thank him for doing a great job.

Everyone else can be handed their walking papers because this was one cruddy book.

It was a mish mash of different creators — and it showed!

The art went back and forth as did the writing.

It's wasn't all bad, as the Daemonites, Kryptonians, Superman and Helspont were interesting, but everything else can be scrapped.

Basically, we learn the Earth is a nesting ground for Daemonite genetic dominance, with Helspont sending his thugs to attempt to recruit certain of the DC Heroes.

We get a nice bikini shot of Starfire. Okay. We get Martian Manhunter with a Stormwatch reference. Okay. We get Grifter and Deathblow. Okay. We get Hawkman. Okay.

So, why are they even in the book?

Oh, DC Comics was supposed to have a big crossover with them, but that was scrapped due to Superman editorial.

And people are mad at Rob Liefeld?

Read this book and you'll be shaking Rob's hand, too.

DC, I want my 5 bucks back.
